Jayla turns 1

This little girl definitely has a mind of her own … just ask her mom! ;)   She has many expressions as well. Who can resist those chubby cheeks, beautiful blue eyes and those baby rolls?!? Here is just a few from our session today.

Welcome Cooper!

I would like you to meet my great nephew, Cooper, who was welcomed into the world just eight days before these images were taken. He is such a sweet and cuddly baby. You just don’t want to put him down because he likes to snuggle.  Here are some images from our session. You will be seeing lots more of Cooper in the future on my blog.

Wieneke Family

Another great weekend for a family session. I have known Monica since she was in at least junior high. It was fun to be able to photograph her and her family. I don’t know which side of the family the kids get them from but they have the longest eye lashes and big eyes!  I am afraid I would have a hard time saying no to this little guy if he just batted those lashes at me. ;) Here are a few images from our session.

Larkin Kids

I had a fun time photographing these two kids…it felt more like a play date than a photo session. ;)   They were full of life and energy! They got along so well and you could tell they really loved each other. Here’s a few images from their session yesterday.

Koehn Family

I just love this family … after all they are my niece, nephew-in-law, great niece, and baby niece or nephew expected to arrive the first part of December!  I am hoping baby #2 isn’t quite as strong willed as his or her older sister. ;)   Seems like I am always able to get good pictures of Miss Macey but sometimes she makes me work harder for those smiles than other times. This was one of  those times. Good thing they are all photogenic! We had a lot of sun and wind to deal with but with the help of my wonderful assistant, we were able to get some great images.

In this next image, I asked Macey to put her arm around her mommy. She proceeded to put her arm around both of her parents. When Macey gives you a good hug it’s called a “squeeze”. I have entitled this next image the Macey squeeze. :) She had so much fun doing it that she didn’t want to stop and had us all laughing!
